It's raised. The floral pieces are sewn and textured onto the fabric, so they have real dimension you can feel with your fingers.

Does the white show through in sunlight?
No. The fabric is woven thick enough to stay opaque, even in bright sun. A nude seamless slip is still a nice option for full peace of mind.

Can I machine wash it?
