Is the built-in shelf bra supportive enough on its own?
Yes, for most everyday wear and small-to-medium busts (A through C). The shelf bra gives a smooth, lifted shape without needing a separate bra. For higher-impact activities or larger busts, you can layer a bralette underneath.
Is the white version see-through?
The ribbed knit is medium-weight and lined through the chest with the shelf bra layer, so the front stays opaque. In strong direct sunlight you may see a hint of skin tone — many wearers go for the nude or black version if that's a concern.
Does it shrink or pill after washing?
Wash on cold with similar colors and hang dry to keep the shape. The 93% polyester / 7% elastane blend holds up well wash after wash and doesn't pill easily.
How low is the V-neck?
The V is cut to show your collarbone and a small triangle of neckline — flattering for layering jewelry but modest enough for work, errands, and everyday wear.
